Built To Last

Attention is given to every detail and every part of the knife has a reason. Using the highest quality materials and a minimalistic approach to design, I make heirloom quality knives that last generations.

Functional Art

My goal is to help bring back an era where something is made not only to last lifetimes but as a usable piece of art. Just as at home on your belt as it is displayed on a shelf.

Inspired by Nature

Handcrafted in the Northwoods of Minnesota, I take inspiration from my surroundings; combining the rugged coastline of Lake Superior and the many flowing rivers that empty into it. My work combines elements of hard textures and soft flowing lines. Materials are simple high carbon steel and hard woods, natural tones and once in awhile a bright pop of color like you would sometimes see in the night sky.

Custom Work

Each knife I make is one-of-a-kind. No two are exactly alike.

Although I am working on making more knives available, much of my work is commission based.

About Me

Born and raised in Northern Minnesota, I spent most of my life exploring the many lakes, forests, and rivers in the area. Knives have always been an essential tool for exploring and a source of entertainment and security when out in the wild.

Several years ago, my son decided he wanted to make a knife so we took a lesson, completed our first knives, and I was hooked.

As a minimalist and perfectionist, my style has evolved to marry form and function. Simplicity and timelessness is my goal.
